HELPING OUT

HOW COMPANIES & FOUNDATIONS CAN HELP END HUNGER

Companies and foundations play a vital role in Food Lifeline's efforts to feed hungry people. There are many ways that your organization can help.

Financial Donations

Food Lifeline receives financial support from companies and foundations of all sizes. These funds enable us to continue to provide food to hungry people in Western Washington.

Sponsorship & Promotions

We have many opportunities for our corporate partners to make a difference for hungry people in Western Washington and meet their businesses goals and objectives.

  • If you are interested in finding out about Sponsorship Opportunities or if your business is interested creating a customized promotion, please contact our Corporate Relations Manager at 206-545-6600 x3613.

Food & Fund Drives

Engage your clients and employees in a company-wide activity that boosts morale, shows community spirit, and provides meals to hungry people.  Collect essential food items, set up an office fundraiser, or steer participants to our Virtual Food Drive for a fun and effective way to feed hungry people.  If competition is a motivator at your office, try out our Challenge for Change program, which pits department against department to see who can raise the most funds and food.

Workplace Giving Campaigns

If your company participates in the United Way Giving Campaign or organizes its own Workplace Giving Campaign, let employees know that they can designate their giving to Food Lifeline. Our staff and volunteers are more than happy to attend any information sessions to talk to your employees about Food Lifeline and the work we do. If you don't have a Workplace Giving Campaign, consider starting one!

  • For more information about Workplace Giving Campaigns, please contact our Donor Services Manager at 206-545-6600 x3616.

In-Kind Donations

Companies can also make in-kind donations such as services or products. Typical examples of in-kind donations include packaging materials, paper products, printing services, transportation, storage, professional services, and other essential items needed by Food Lifeline.

  • If your organization is interested in making an in-kind donation, please email or call 206-545-6600.

Volunteer

Volunteering provides a wonderful team building exercise for your employees. Learn more about our Volunteer Program and Group Volunteer Opportunities.
