FOOD COLLECTION INFORMATION

Feel free to use your own collection boxes and affix a Food Lifeline poster supplied to you after registration.
To use Food Lifeline’s signature collection bins, please arrange to pick them up at our Shoreline Repack Center by contacting our Special Events Coordinator at 206-545-6600 x3624 or by email. These professional, sturdy boxes are stackable, easily transported and hold 40-50 pounds of food each.
Please arrange transportation of your food donations to our Shoreline Repack Center. Your delivery means our trucks can stay on the road getting food out to hungry people.
If you collect 500 pounds of food or more (the equivalent of a filled SUV or pickup truck), Food Lifeline can send a driver to pick up from locations within the greater Seattle area. During the busy holiday season, we need at least 2 weeks notice to schedule a pickup.
For less than 500 pounds, our drop-off hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at our Shoreline Repack Center. We can also assist with arranging a drop off of your food at one of our member food banks in your area.
