Food Lifeline's Product Recovery Center (PRC) utilizes 5,770 square feet of our warehouse space to sort and repack food and essential products donated from local retailers and grocers. Dedicated staff and trained volunteers hand inspect each item using strict food safety and handling guidelines. Our Product Recovery Center and Volunteer Program recover over nearly 3 million pounds of wholesome products each year!
The Product Recovery Center is also where food received through community food drives is sorted and repacked. Canned food, dry goods and personal care items are packed separately for distribution to area food banks and meal programs.
